Eat the frog first!

I expect you know this saying. In time management scenarios it means do the job you are dreading first, don't put it off. The idea being that with the job done, you will be less stressed and be more productive.

So there is a new blogger format. I have put off posting, Learning new stuff takes me longer these days. So here I am this morning eating the frog first!

Let's see if I can add a photo....

At this point the font went funny but now it's back!

Let's see if this blog uploads.....

Edited to add: Phew it worked. I'm back! But why was it changed anyway? Waste of everyone's time!

  1. I read that the new format is supposed to make it easier for mobile devices. I don't like it at all and find it much more difficult to use but I suppose I will get used to it.

Welcome back anyway, you've been missed x

    1. Thank you Eileen x
I use my android tablet here but I think it was much harder than the old format. Parkinsons makes it difficult for me to learn new things but I am determined to continue to learn .... the ex teacher in me! So I am pleased with myself though I suspect this was beginner's luck!

  2. Hello Lynn. My blog was suddenly changed, and I worked with it for a while but didnt like it. So I've gone back to the original. I cant see the point of changing really.

    1. Hello Barbara, my blog was changed suddenly too and I was going to revert back but I read that the old version was only available until September. Or perhaps I misread that and the chance to revert is only available til then?

  3. Eating the frog first! I never heard that before but like it and can see where it is a great idea to get the most dreaded thing done first. I am not happy with the new format, but there is not much that we can do . . . I do believe that old dogs can learn new tricks it just takes us a bit longer, LOL.
God bless your day and thank you for your blogging friendship.
    Connie :)

  4. Hello Lynn, Just popping over from my small corner to say "hello". Like lots of others the new format is not great. I find the layout a bit faffy. Not great when as a new blogger I was only just getting my head round the old format . Still we will get used to it eventually. Now I have found your lovely blog I will back soon. I have read your past blog posts and they really made me smile, lovely photos too. Have a good week .
